Anchorage
is the largest city in Alaska with a population of approximately
260,000. Although it is a small city in comparison to cities
nationwide, you will find the same amenities that you would
find in major metropolitan areas. Anchorage offers a wide
range of things to do. Whether your taste is for fast food
or fine dining, Anchorage can satisfy your craving. You
can go to a movie at one of the many multiplex theaters
or enjoy an opera at the Alaska Center for the Performing
Arts.

hunting or fishing is your forte`, Alaska is the place for
you.
You
can fish for Salmon right in Anchorage after work or take
a three hour drive for some of the best halibut and salmon
fishing in the world. The world renowned Kenai Peninsula
is a short 15 minute flight or three hour drive from Anchorage.
Only an hour away is the Matanuska Valley and its thousands
of lakes and rivers that are filled with many species of
fish including salmon.
Wildlife
is abundant in the state as well. Most Anchorage residents
have experienced moose in their backyards. Although you
cannot hunt in the city, you don't have to go far. You can
